Magazine.net Top 50 The onslaught continues... with killer tunes pre and post WMC we continue to get hammered with amazing new music every week. Carl Kennedy's vocal anthem The Love You Bring Me on Roger Sanchez's Stealth imprint hits the top spot, largely due to a killer remix from Eddie Thoneick. Supafly Inc's summer banger Be Together moves to 2, and Splittr's monster All Alone is up to 3. Lisa Millet & DJ Device keep it funky and jump to 4, while DJ Vibe & Carlos Fauvrelle's chunker hits 5. After a brief stint at the hotel, we quickly parlayed our way to the little hotel entrenched club Shine. Satoshi, Hector and the boys were hosting an evening of the freshest SAW tracks as well as some open bar action; so its a little difficult to say no. Hot tracks and free drinks is an absurdly famous combination. This party would feature the likes of Bush II Bush (you all know the Piano Track), Lexicon Avenue, Audiofly, Guy Gerber, and of course Hector Romero and Satoshi Tomiie. The tech-progressive goodness was too good to believe, we of course found much to distract ourselves at this party... some good, some bad; but in the end it's the music that stands out. There are a ton of new SAW tracks set for release, so do your best to keep your ears open for them all. Cass & Morgan's, "I Didn't Mean to Turn You On" stands out for us, and Toronto's own Sean Miller has a few SAW releases slated for release as well. Only at an event like the WMC could you find a SAW records party starting in the early evening. One that would set the stage for the debauchery that would close the first day of Miami 2006.
