Supafly Inc's summer banger Be Together moves to 2, and Splittr's monster All Alone is up to 3. Lisa Millet & DJ Device keep it funky and jump to 4, while DJ Vibe & Carlos Fauvrelle's chunker hits 5. Three days in, and you feel like you have been here for a week. There is just so much going on that it's hard to decide what it is you feel like doing. Most people opt for the big parties every time. Tiesto @ Mansion, Deep Dish @ Space, Carl Cox @ Crobar, Ultra... you get the idea. After years of coming here, our method always includes us stopping off at smaller parties with the more intimate vibes. There is nothing wrong with hitting all the huge ones mind you, but it’s nice to see DJs play that you have never seen or may never see as they don't tour through North America regularly. That being said, we took a nice light stop at the Beach Plaza hotel to check the new releases from Om at their VIP listening party. Once again, the free Presidente beers were flowing as the sweet sounds of Andy Caldwell's latest artist album “Universal Truth” warmed our ears and soul as we arrived. After meeting, greeting, and interviewing artists Andy Caldwell, Colette, Colossus, Rithma (including an impromptu beatbox session and accapella performance of some new material) and causing a ruckus with the label execs, we wished them well and promised to see them the next night at their monster bash at Mansion.
